COURSE CURRICULUM

The Graduate Certificate in Information Technology is awarded upon completion of four core units and four specialisation units, providing foundational knowledge and skills in IT design, development, and management. The core units include Creating Web Applications (COS60004), which develops practical skills in building web-based applications; Data Management for the Big Data Age (COS60009), focusing on handling and analysing large datasets; User-Centred Design (COS70004), teaching principles of designing technology with a focus on usability; and Technology Design Project (COS60011), offering hands-on experience in developing innovative IT solutions. Alongside the specialisation units, this program prepares graduates to work professionally in information and communication technology, equipping them to design, implement, and maintain effective IT systems across diverse environments.
