COURSE CURRICULUM

The Graduate Certificate in Forensic Behavioural Science is awarded upon completion of three core units and one elective unit, providing foundational knowledge and skills for working in forensic settings. The core units include Core Skills in Forensic Practice (FBS80001), which develops essential practical competencies for forensic work; Fundamentals of Criminal Law Process (FBS80002), which introduces the legal frameworks and processes relevant to forensic practice; and Principles of Violence Risk Assessment and Management (FBS80003), which equips students with the skills to assess and manage risks associated with violent behaviour. Together, these units provide a strong foundation for understanding forensic populations, legal contexts, and applied risk management, preparing graduates for professional roles in forensic environments or further study in the field.
