COURSE CURRICULUM

The Master of Engineering Practice requires students to complete 100 credit points, including two core units and six specialisation units. The core units, Engineering Project Management (CSM80006) and Research Paper (CVE80001), provide essential skills in managing engineering projects and conducting professional research.Students specialising in Mechanical Engineering must complete four core specialisation units and select two additional specialisation units. Core specialisation units include Computer Modelling, Analysis and Visualisation (ADM80015), Fluid Waves (MEE80001), Sustainability and Life Cycle Engineering (MEE80002), and Introduction to Industry 4.0 (MEE80003). Elective specialisation units include Surface Engineering (ADM80007), Advanced CAD/CAM (ADM80010), and Intelligent Inspection Systems (ADM80014).Completing these units equips graduates with advanced technical knowledge, practical skills, and applied research experience in mechanical engineering. The program prepares students for specialised engineering roles, enabling them to implement modern engineering technologies, solve complex problems, and contribute effectively to industry projects and innovation.
