COURSE CURRICULUM

The Master of Engineering Practice requires students to complete 100 credit points, including two core units and six specialisation units. The core units, Engineering Project Management (CSM80006) and Research Paper (CVE80001), provide essential skills in managing engineering projects and conducting professional research.For students specialising in Electronics and Telecommunications, four core specialisation units and two additional specialisation units must be completed. Core specialisation units include RF Circuit Design Techniques (EEE80004), Virtual Instrumentation (EEE80021), Networks and Switching (TNE60006), and Mobile and Personal Networking (TNE80005). Additional specialisation units that can be chosen include Technology Inquiry Project (COS60010), Hardware-Software Codesign (EEE40014), and Network Routing Principles (TNE70003).Completing these units equips graduates with advanced technical knowledge, practical skills, and applied research experience in electronics and telecommunications engineering. The program prepares students for specialised roles in the field, enabling them to apply modern technologies, solve complex engineering challenges, and contribute effectively to industry projects and innovation.
