COURSE CURRICULUM

The Master of Engineering Practice requires students to complete 100 credit points, including two core units and six specialisation units. The core units, Engineering Project Management (CSM80006) and Research Paper (CVE80001), provide essential skills in project management and professional research.For students specialising in Advanced Manufacturing, the program includes four core specialisation units and two additional specialisation units of choice. Core units for this specialisation include Additive Manufacturing and Tooling Project (ADM80020), Advanced CAD/CAM (ADM80010), and Intelligent Inspection Systems (ADM80014). Additional specialisation units that can be selected include Nanofabrication Technologies (ADM80001), Surface Engineering (ADM80007), Advanced Manufacturing Processes (ADM80013), Computer Modelling, Analysis and Visualisation (ADM80015), Advanced CAD/CAM (ADM80010), and Sustainability and Life Cycle Engineering (MEE80002).By completing these core and specialised units, graduates gain advanced technical knowledge, practical skills, and research experience in advanced manufacturing. The program equips students to excel in specialised engineering roles, apply cutting-edge technologies, and contribute effectively to industry projects and innovation in manufacturing practices.
