COURSE CURRICULUM

The Graduate Certificate in Data Science is awarded upon completion of eight core units, providing foundational knowledge and skills in data analytics and technology. The program includes Creating Web Applications (COS60004), Introduction to Data Science (COS60008), and Data Management for the Big Data Age (COS60009), which develop essential technical and analytical competencies. Programming Principles and Practices (COS60018) and Technology Design Project (COS60011) focus on coding skills and practical application of technology solutions. Cloud Engineering (COS80001) and Data Visualisation (COS80025) equip students with expertise in managing cloud-based systems and presenting data effectively. Cyber Ethics (CYB70001) provides an understanding of ethical considerations in digital and data-driven environments. Together, these units prepare graduates to analyse data, implement technological solutions, and make informed, ethical decisions in data-focused roles.
