COURSE CURRICULUM

The Master of Aviation offers structured pathways to postgraduate qualifications in aviation through a combination of core and elective units. Completing three core units—Human Factors and Advanced Technology (AVA80004), Aviation Industry Fundamentals (AVA80012), and Marketing in Aviation (AVA80032)—along with one elective unit, qualifies students for a Graduate Certificate. This provides foundational knowledge in aviation operations, human factors, and industry-specific skills.Progressing to the Graduate Diploma requires the completion of an additional three core units—Safety in Operational Teams (AVA80003), Airline Revenue Management and Pricing (AVA80034), and Leading High Performance Organisations (AVA80039)—plus another elective. This stage further develops advanced skills in operational safety, revenue management, and organisational leadership, preparing students for senior roles within the aviation sector. Through this structured approach, the program equips graduates with both practical expertise and theoretical understanding, enabling them to advance their careers in aviation management, operations, and industry leadership.
