The sequence may vary depending on advanced standing, exemptions, or other factors, and while the unit information is accurate at the time of publication, changes may occur.In the first year, Semester 1 includes the core unit Technology and Society (ART10002), which examines how technological developments impact society, alongside the major unit Writing Fiction (LIT10002) to develop creative writing skills, and two elective units. Semester 2 offers the major unit Reading and Writing Genre Texts (LIT10003) and three elective units, allowing students to explore different literary forms and develop analytical and writing skills.In the second year, Semester 1 comprises the core unit Skills and Strategies for Social Change (ART20003), alongside the major units Diversity in Australian Writing (LIT20002) and Exploring Iconic Texts (LIT20004), emphasizing social awareness and literary analysis. Semester 2 includes Prose Poetics (LIT20003) and three elective units, focusing on creative expression and critical interpretation.The program also includes professional placements to integrate academic learning with practical experience.
