The indicative sequence for the Bachelor of Construction Management (Honours) for Semester 1, 2026, provides a structured pathway that combines theoretical knowledge, practical skills, and digital technologies to prepare students for professional careers in construction management. In the first year, students build foundational skills with units such as Introduction to Digital Technologies for Construction (CSM10002), Humanitarian Engineering Design Project (ENG10001), Introduction to Programming (COS10009), and Construction 1: Building Systems and Materials (DIA10001). Semester 2 continues with Introduction to Building Information Modelling (BIM) (CSM10003), Introduction to Building and Infrastructure Construction (CSM10005), Economics for Business Decision Making (ECO10005), and Engineering Materials (ENG10002), equipping students with essential construction, engineering, and business knowledge.In the second year, students focus on project management, digital coordination, and technical applications. Semester 1 includes Digital Engineering Project (CVE20015), Financial Information for Decision Making (ACC10007), Measurement of Quantities and Estimation (CSM20003), and Topographical Engineering (CVE20001).
