The Bachelor of Business (Professional) degree provides students with a comprehensive pathway to develop the knowledge, skills, and professional experience needed to succeed in a dynamic business environment. The indicative sequence for Semester 1, 2026, is designed to combine foundational business knowledge with practical, hands-on learning. Core units cover key areas including financial information for decision making, economics, business digitalisation, management principles, sustainability, entrepreneurship, financial statistics, and marketing. These units equip students with the ability to analyse financial data, understand economic and organisational contexts, apply digital tools in business, and develop creative and ethical approaches to solving real-world business challenges.A distinguishing feature of this professional degree is the 12-month integrated professional placement, which can be completed in two segments: Work Experience in Industry A and B, coupled with Integrated Professional Placement units. This work-integrated learning experience allows students to apply theoretical knowledge in real business settings, gain industry exposure, and develop critical workplace skills such as problem-solving, teamwork, and professional communication.
