COURSE CURRICULUM

The Bachelor of Business (Marketing) provides a structured pathway to develop both foundational and advanced marketing knowledge, alongside practical business skills. In the first year, you will complete core units including Financial Information for Decision Making, Economics for Business Decision Making, Business Digitalisation, Contemporary Management Principles, Business for Sustainability, Creative Mindset and Entrepreneurship, Financial Statistics, and Marketing and the Consumer Experience. These units establish a solid understanding of business principles, sustainability, entrepreneurship, and consumer-focused strategies.In the second and third years, you will focus on marketing-specific units such as Marketing Research and Analytics, Integrated Marketing Communication, Consumer Behaviour, and Marketing and Innovation. Electives allow you to tailor your studies further according to your interests or career goals.The program includes the option of a professional placement, either a 12-month major placement or a 6-month minor placement, providing hands-on industry experience. Work placements are supported by integrated professional units, ensuring you gain practical insights into business operations, marketing strategy, and organisational decision-making.Upon enrolment, you will also select Business Practice electives, which may include Sustainable Business Practice, Future Work Skills, internships, and study tours. These opportunities enhance your professional skills and prepare you for a career in marketing, combining ethical business practice, digital expertise, and real-world experience.
