COURSE CURRICULUM

The Bachelor of Business is structured to provide a comprehensive foundation in core business disciplines while allowing students to specialise in areas such as Finance, Management, or Entrepreneurship. In the first year, students complete core units including Financial Information for Decision Making, Economics for Business Decision Making, Business Digitalisation, and Contemporary Management Principles, followed by Business for Sustainability, Social Change and Impact, Creative Mindset and Entrepreneurship, Financial Statistics, and Marketing and the Consumer Experience in the second semester.In the second year, students focus on major units such as Financial Management and Ethics and International Finance, complemented by elective units to tailor the degree to individual interests. The final year includes advanced major units like Financial Risk Management and Management of Investment Portfolios, alongside further electives.The program incorporates professional placements, offering either a 12-month major placement or a 6-month minor placement, giving students practical, hands-on experience in real-world business environments. Upon enrolment, students can also choose Business Practice electives, including Sustainable Business Practice, Future Work Skills, internships, and study tours, which enhance both professional skills and industry readiness.This structure ensures graduates are well-prepared with both theoretical knowledge and practical experience, ready to pursue a wide range of careers in business and finance.
