The indicative sequence for Semester 1, 2026, provides a framework for planning studies in the Bachelor of Arts program. The sequence may vary depending on advanced standing, exemptions, or other factors, and while unit information is accurate at the time of publication, changes may occur.In Semester 1, students undertake the core unit Technology and Society (ART10002), which explores the influence of technological developments on human societies. The major unit What is Power? (PHI10007) examines the concept of power from philosophical, social, and political perspectives, helping students understand its role in shaping human behavior and institutions. Students also select two elective units, allowing flexibility to tailor their studies according to personal interests.Semester 2 includes the major unit Propaganda (HIS10006), which investigates the history, methods, and effects of propaganda on societies and political systems. Students also choose three elective units to further broaden their knowledge and skills across various disciplines.In the subsequent sequence, Semester 1 features the core unit Skills and Strategies for Social Change (ART20003), which equips students with practical tools and strategies to create meaningful social impact.
