COURSE CURRICULUM

The program provides a thorough grounding in supply chain management and business analytics, equipping students with the knowledge and skills needed to succeed in operations and logistics roles across a variety of industries. In the first year, students complete core courses including Supply Chain Principles, Business Analytics, Supply Chain Modelling and Design, and Business Project Management. These courses introduce fundamental concepts in supply chain management, analytical techniques, and project coordination, enabling students to understand the flow of goods, services, and information in complex business environments. In the second semester of the first year, students undertake Strategic Operations and Supply Chain Management, which focuses on the integration of operational strategies with supply chain practices, fostering the ability to make informed and strategic decisions.Alongside these core courses, students have the opportunity to specialise their learning by selecting either a minor, which consists of three courses tailored to a specific area of interest, or by choosing 36 credit points from a broader list of option courses. This flexibility allows students to develop expertise aligned with their career aspirations, whether in logistics, operations, analytics, or management.In the second year, students build on their foundational knowledge through the Business Research Design course, which equips them with the skills necessary to plan, conduct, and analyse research projects relevant to business and supply chain contexts. The combination of practical skills, analytical techniques, and research capabilities ensures that graduates are well-prepared to tackle complex operational challenges, optimise processes, and contribute to the strategic objectives of organisations.Overall, the program balances theory and practice, fostering both technical competence and critical thinking. Graduates gain a comprehensive understanding of supply chain systems, business analytics, and operational management, making them highly employable in sectors such as logistics, manufacturing, retail, consultancy, and government.
