COURSE CURRICULUM

The Master of Fashion Entrepreneurship program is designed to develop advanced skills in fashion business, innovation, and management, preparing students to launch and lead fashion ventures in global markets. In the first year, students complete four core courses, including Fashion Entrepreneurship, Fibre to Fabric Essentials, Fabric to Fashion Essentials, and Fabric to Fashion Innovation Studio, all delivered at the Brunswick Campus. These courses provide foundational knowledge in fashion design processes, materials, and creative business practices. During Semester Two, students undertake Research Strategies for Fashion Ventures and Marketing for Fashion Entrepreneurs, which focus on developing analytical, research, and marketing skills tailored to the fashion industry. In addition, students select either two specialized courses from options such as Fashion Business Finance Management, Fashion Forecasting and Analytics, Advanced Textile Materials and New Technologies, Luxury Fashion Business Management, or Digital Communication for Fashion, or one specialized course combined with one approved university postgraduate elective to align with individual professional interests.In the second year, the program emphasizes sustainability, international business, and professional application. Students complete two core courses: Ethical and Sustainable Practices for Fashion and Textiles and International Entrepreneurship in Fashion and Textiles, fostering awareness of ethical business practices and global market strategies. They also select either two additional courses from specialized options or one specialized course with one approved postgraduate elective, including choices such as Fashion Retail Management Strategies, Fashion Brand Management, Global Fashion Enterprise, Global Fashion Supply Chains, or a Fashion Business Internship. Across both years, the program encourages students to consult with their Program Manager to ensure elective choices align with professional goals. The curriculum integrates technical knowledge, entrepreneurial skills, sustainability, and international perspectives, equipping graduates with the expertise required to manage, innovate, and lead in diverse sectors of the fashion industry, from design and production to marketing and strategic business management.
