COURSE CURRICULUM

In the first year of the program, students are required to complete a series of compulsory onboarding modules during their initial semester. They must successfully complete 48 credit points from four core courses designed to provide a strong foundation in business and technology. The course Information Systems for Business Value, worth 12 credit points, introduces students to the strategic use of information systems to create business value and support decision-making. Future of Work, also 12 credit points, explores the evolving nature of work, addressing technological, social, and organisational changes that are reshaping workplaces globally. Sustainable Business Models, valued at 12 credit points, focuses on creating and implementing business strategies that incorporate environmental, social, and economic sustainability principles. The fourth core course, Business Research Design, carries 12 credit points and equips students with the skills needed to design, conduct, and analyse business research, supporting evidence-based decision-making. Together, these courses provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the interplay between technology, innovation, and sustainable practices, preparing them for advanced studies and practical application in contemporary business environments. By completing these foundational modules, students develop critical analytical skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to assess and implement sustainable business solutions, establishing a solid base for success in subsequent stages of the program.
