COURSE CURRICULUM

This postgraduate business program at RMIT is structured into four progressive stages designed to build strong capabilities in digital business, analytics, strategy, and information systems. In Stage A, students complete foundational courses in Business Project Management, Business Analytics, Database Design and Development, and Business Systems Analysis and Design, which develop core skills in managing projects, analysing data, and designing business information systems. Stage B focuses on governance, ethics, security, and organisational knowledge through subjects such as Digital Risk Management and Information Security, Business Ethics for a Digital Society, Knowledge Management, and Governance and Change in Digital Business. Stage C advances students into strategic and applied learning with courses including Digital Strategy, Business Information Technology Project, and Business Research Design, along with an additional elective or approved course to support specialised interests. Stage D allows students to further tailor their degree by selecting four option courses from a wide range of advanced topics such as AI Strategy for Business Transformation, Machine Learning for Business Professionals, Blockchain Solutions, Cloud Solutions for Enterprises, Digital Innovation, Business Intelligence, and Digital Economy studies. Overall, the program equips students with a balanced mix of technical, analytical, and strategic business skills, preparing them for careers in digital transformation, analytics, consulting, and technology-driven business environments.
