COURSE CURRICULUM

Bachelor of Engineering (Advanced Manufacturing and Mechatronics) (Honours), students must complete a structured program that combines core engineering knowledge, systems engineering, electives, and specialised minor studies. The degree requires completion of 22 core courses, 3 Systems Engineering courses, 2 program option courses, and 1 University Elective, along with 4 additional courses (48 credit points) selected through approved combinations of program minors or electives. A minor typically consists of 48 credit points and must be completed in the prescribed sequence outlined in the program structure. Students may choose between different pathways, including completing all four courses from a single minor, selecting four courses across multiple minors, or combining three minor courses with one university elective, allowing flexibility in specialisation. The program is designed over four years, with Year One introducing foundational engineering principles, mathematics, programming, and basic systems concepts. Year Two builds technical depth through core engineering and systems-focused subjects along with early specialisation options.
