COURSE CURRICULUM

Bachelor of Engineering (Civil & Infrastructure) (Honours) / Bachelor of Business, students must complete a total of 516 credit points across both disciplines. The engineering component consists of 30 courses (360 credit points), including 25 core engineering subjects that develop essential knowledge in civil and infrastructure systems, design, analysis, and project delivery, along with two capstone courses that integrate advanced learning through major industry-aligned projects. Students must also complete one university elective and 48 credit points of additional study, which may be selected from program minor lists or approved combinations of minors and program option courses, depending on the chosen pathway. These electives allow students to specialise or broaden their expertise in areas relevant to civil engineering practice. The business component requires 13 courses (156 credit points), including four foundation business subjects that establish core knowledge in management, economics, and organisational studies, and one business capstone course that synthesises learning in a practical context. The remaining eight business option courses are selected from a structured major or minor combination, with students able to choose one major, two minors, or a combination of a minor and additional electives. Course selection must follow structured sequences, and no course can be double-counted across majors or minors. This integrated structure prepares graduates for leadership roles in infrastructure development and business management.
