COURSE CURRICULUM

The Bachelor of Engineering (Advanced Manufacturing and Mechatronics) (Honours)/Bachelor of Business is a comprehensive double degree that combines advanced engineering expertise with business knowledge, preparing graduates for careers in technology-driven industries and management roles. To complete the engineering component, students must undertake 372 credit points, including 25 core courses (300 credit points), which incorporate two capstone courses that provide practical, industry-focused experience. Students must also complete two additional courses selected from the Program Option list or University Electives and four courses from engineering minor studies, either from a single minor or a combination of minor courses. These minors allow students to deepen their knowledge in specialized engineering areas and must be completed according to the prescribed sequence. The Bachelor of Business component requires 156 credit points, comprising four foundation courses (48 credit points), one capstone course (12 credit points), and eight business option courses (96 credit points). Students can satisfy the business requirements by completing a business major, two business minors, or one business minor combined with additional business option courses. Business option courses are drawn from approved majors and minors, and courses used to complete one major or minor cannot be counted toward another. Overall, the program provides a balanced education that develops technical engineering capabilities alongside business and management skills, enhancing graduates’ versatility and career opportunities.
