COURSE CURRICULUM

The Bachelor of Applied Science (Aviation)/Bachelor of Business is a comprehensive double degree that combines specialised aviation knowledge with broad business expertise. To complete the Aviation component, students must achieve 240 credit points, including 13 core courses (156 credit points), two university electives (24 credit points), and five additional courses (60 credit points) selected from the Aviation/Engineering Minor and Technical Option lists. Students can either complete four courses from an Aviation/Engineering Minor and one Technical Option course, or choose any five courses from a combination of both lists. The program allows flexibility through university electives, which may include major, minor, technical option, or other approved courses. The Business component requires 192 credit points, consisting of four foundation courses (48 credit points), one capstone course (12 credit points), and eleven business option courses (132 credit points). Students may structure their business studies by completing a business major, one or two business minors, or a combination of business option courses. Most courses are worth 12 credit points, although some may carry a higher value. Majors and minors must be completed according to the prescribed sequence, and courses used toward one major or minor cannot be counted again toward another, ensuring a broad and well-rounded academic experience.
