COURSE CURRICULUM

Bachelor of Accounting / Bachelor of Laws, students must complete a structured program designed to integrate core accounting knowledge with foundational and advanced legal studies across multiple years of study. In the first year, students complete 96 credit points consisting of eight compulsory onboarding modules that introduce essential concepts in business, law, accounting, and economics. These include subjects such as Business Decision Making, Understanding the Business Environment, Accounting in Organisations and Society, Business in Society, and Economics and Quantitative Analysis, alongside foundational legal studies such as Becoming a Lawyer in a Globalised World, Introduction to Contract Law, and Torts Law. This first year establishes a strong interdisciplinary base, ensuring students understand both commercial and legal frameworks from the outset. While detailed course structures for Years Two through Five are outlined separately, the program continues to build progressively in complexity, integrating advanced accounting principles, core legal doctrines, and applied business knowledge. Students also complete approved law options later in the degree, allowing for further specialisation within legal studies. Across the program, learning is designed to develop analytical thinking, ethical reasoning, and professional competence, preparing graduates for careers in accounting, law, or hybrid professional roles in corporate and advisory settings.
