COURSE CURRICULUM

The Master of Education at Murdoch University is structured to provide a total of 48 credit points, combining core units with a major of the student’s choice. The course core consists of 36 credit points, with six required units that build foundational and advanced knowledge in educational research, policy, practice, and project implementation. These units include Introduction to Research for Educators, Workplace Policy and Practice, Pathways to Understanding Education, Education Project, Australian and Comparative EducationStudies, and Curriculum Development and Evaluation. Together, these units equip students with the skills to plan, implement, and assess educational initiatives and research projects in diverse learning environments.Students can also select a 12-credit-point major to tailor the degree to their professional interests and career goals. Available majors include E-Learning, Inclusive and Special Needs Education, Instructional Leadership, International Education, and Sustainable Pedagogies for Liveable Futures.
