COURSE CURRICULUM

The Master of Clinical Chiropractic curriculum consists of 72 credit points of core study designed to develop comprehensive clinical knowledge, diagnostic expertise, and professional competence. Students begin by exploring the chiropractic profession before progressing through a sequence of diagnosis units that build advanced skills in assessing and managing musculoskeletal disorders. The program includes clinically oriented anatomy, rehabilitation and chiropractic practice, and three levels of clinical chiropractic, providing a strong scientific and practical foundation. Pre-clinical practicum units allow students to develop hands-on skills in a supervised environment before undertaking an extensive clinical practicum that strengthens their ability to deliver patient-centred care in real healthcare settings. Additional units in differential diagnosis and diagnostic imaging enhance students’ ability to accurately identify and evaluate a wide range of health conditions. The curriculum also covers neuromuscular rehabilitation, workplace injuries and prevention, mental health issues in chiropractic care, and public health, enabling students to adopt a holistic approach to patient management. Research Methods for Exercise Science develops evidence-based practice and critical thinking skills, while Professional Practice Management prepares graduates to operate and manage chiropractic practices effectively. Overall, the curriculum integrates theoretical knowledge, clinical training, research capability, and professional development, ensuring graduates possess the skills, ethical standards, and practical experience required to provide safe, effective, and evidence-based chiropractic care in diverse healthcare settings.
