COURSE CURRICULUM

The Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Information Technology double degree integrates legal knowledge with advanced technology skills, preparing students for careers where law and digital innovation intersect. The Law component develops a strong foundation in legal practice through studies in foundations of law, criminal law and procedure, torts, contracts, property law, constitutional law, evidence, trusts, administrative law, corporations law, civil procedure, and professional responsibility. Students also complete law electives to expand their understanding of specialised legal areas. The Information Technology component provides essential technical knowledge through units covering cybersecurity fundamentals, programming, data communications, computer systems, IT project management, databases, and professional IT practice. Students can specialise in areas such as Business Information Systems, Cyber Security and Forensics, Computer Science, Internetworking and Network Security, or Artificial Intelligence and Autonomous Systems.
