COURSE CURRICULUM

The Master of Health Management requires completion of 96 credit points, structured across three key components: Part A Foundation studies (24 credit points), Part B Discipline studies (54 credit points), and Part C Specified elective studies (18 credit points). The Foundation studies provide an essential introduction to core concepts in health management and healthcare systems, building a strong base in areas such as health policy, leadership principles, healthcare systems, and introductory management practices. The Discipline studies form the largest component of the program and focus on developing advanced knowledge and professional skills required for leadership roles in healthcare. This includes key areas such as clinical leadership, patient safety, healthcare finance, digital health, health economics, quality improvement, research methods, and health law. These studies are designed to strengthen students’ ability to manage complex healthcare environments, improve service delivery, and lead multidisciplinary teams effectively. The Specified elective studies component allows students to tailor their learning to specific interests or career goals by selecting from a range of advanced topics within health management and related disciplines. Together, these three components provide a structured yet flexible learning pathway that integrates theory, applied knowledge, and professional development.
