COURSE CURRICULUM

The Master of Global Business and Master of Public Policy double degree requires completion of 96 credit points, divided equally between two core components: a 48-credit-point Global Business component and a 48-credit-point Public Policy component. The Global Business component develops a strong understanding of the international business environment and the complex economic, political, and social forces that influence how organisations operate across borders. It focuses on areas such as global strategy, trade and geopolitics, sustainability, and cross-cultural management, enabling students to analyse global market dynamics and organisational decision-making in diverse contexts. The Public Policy component builds advanced knowledge and practical skills in policy development, implementation, and evaluation within government and public sector settings. It covers key areas such as governance, policy analysis, public sector management, economics for policy, and stakeholder engagement, equipping students to understand how policies are designed and executed to address societal challenges. Together, these two components provide an integrated and multidisciplinary learning experience that connects global business insight with public policy expertise. Students develop strong analytical, critical thinking, communication, and problem-solving skills, enabling them to work effectively across government, business, and non-profit sectors.
