COURSE CURRICULUM

The Master of Business Information Systems (MBIS) and Master of Global Business (MGB) double degree requires the successful completion of 120 credit points, providing a comprehensive blend of information systems expertise and global business knowledge. The program is structured to ensure students develop both technical and strategic capabilities that are highly valued in today’s international business environment. Of the total 120 credit points, 84 credit points are dedicated to the Master of Business Information Systems component, which focuses on areas such as information systems analysis and design, digital transformation, business intelligence, data management, systems planning, technology strategy and organisational innovation. This component equips students with the skills needed to design, implement and manage technology-driven solutions that support business objectives and improve organisational performance. The remaining 36 credit points are allocated to the Master of Global Business component, which provides a strong foundation in international business practices, global strategy, trade, cross-cultural management, international markets and the economic, political and social factors influencing business operations worldwide. Together, these two components create a balanced and integrated learning experience that develops analytical, technical and leadership skills. By completing the required 120 credit points, graduates gain a dual qualification that prepares them to address complex business challenges, lead digital innovation, manage international operations and pursue advanced career opportunities across diverse industries and global markets.
