COURSE CURRICULUM

The Bachelor of Pharmaceutical Science requires the completion of 144 credit points, structured across three key parts that integrate core scientific knowledge with applied and specialised learning. Part A, Core Studies (96 credit points), forms the foundation of the degree and develops essential understanding in areas such as chemistry, biology, pharmacology, drug discovery, formulation science, and pharmaceutical technology. These core units provide students with the scientific principles needed to understand how medicines are designed, developed, tested, and manufactured to improve health outcomes. Part B, Discipline Elective Studies (36 credit points), allows students to specialise in areas of interest within pharmaceutical science, offering flexibility to explore advanced topics and emerging fields such as medicinal chemistry, biotechnology, or industrial pharmacy.
