COURSE CURRICULUM

The Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and Bachelor of Computer Science double degree requires the successful completion of 252 credit points, structured across two key components: 156 credit points in Law and 96 credit points in Computer Science. The Law component provides students with a comprehensive grounding in the Australian legal system and develops essential skills in legal reasoning, research, analysis, advocacy, and professional communication. Students study core areas such as constitutional law, criminal law, contract law, property law, administrative law, and legal ethics, along with opportunities to explore specialised legal subjects relevant to modern practice. This training equips graduates with the ability to interpret and apply legal principles to complex real-world problems. The Computer Science component complements legal studies by developing strong technical expertise in computing, programming, algorithms, data structures, software engineering, and data management.
