COURSE CURRICULUM

The Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and Bachelor of Biomedical Science double degree requires the successful completion of 252 credit points, comprising 156 credit points in the Law component and 96 credit points in the Biomedical Science component. The Law component provides a comprehensive education in the Australian legal system, covering fundamental areas such as legal reasoning, research, ethics, advocacy, constitutional law, criminal law, contract law, property law, and other specialized legal subjects. Through these studies, students develop strong analytical, communication, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills that are essential for legal practice and policy development. The Biomedical Science component complements legal training by providing in-depth knowledge of human biology and health sciences, including anatomy, genetics, immunology, microbiology, pharmacology, epidemiology, and preventive medicine. Students gain an understanding of the biological processes underlying health and disease while developing scientific research and data interpretation skills.
