COURSE CURRICULUM

The Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Economics double degree requires the completion of 192 credit points, with the program evenly divided between the two disciplines to provide a balanced and comprehensive academic foundation. The Commerce component consists of 96 credit points and focuses on developing strong knowledge in core business areas such as accounting, finance, marketing, management, economics, and business strategy. This component equips students with practical and analytical skills to understand how organizations operate, make decisions, and respond to changing commercial environments using data-driven insights. The Economics component also comprises 96 credit points and provides a deeper understanding of how economies function at local, national, and global levels. Students study key areas such as microeconomics, macroeconomics, econometrics, economic policy, and business analytics, gaining the ability to analyse markets, evaluate policy impacts, and interpret complex economic data.
