COURSE CURRICULUM

The Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Actuarial Science double degree requires the successful completion of 192 credit points, with the program structured evenly across the two disciplines to ensure a balanced and rigorous education. The Commerce component consists of 96 credit points and provides students with a broad foundation in core business areas such as economics, accounting, finance, management, marketing, and business strategy. This component equips students with essential knowledge of how organizations operate in diverse economic and commercial environments, while also developing practical decision-making and analytical skills. The Actuarial Science component also comprises 96 credit points and focuses on advanced quantitative and statistical methods used to assess risk and uncertainty in financial and insurance contexts. Students study areas such as probability, statistics, financial mathematics, actuarial modelling, and data analysis, building strong technical and analytical capabilities.
