These units provide a strong grounding in both practical media creation and theoretical understanding of communication systems. The Core Zone, also worth 80 credit points, develops advanced expertise in contemporary media practices through units including Storytelling Techniques, Digital Media Strategies, Data Journalism, Contemporary Issues in Global Media, Social Media, Media-Communications Strategies and Campaigns, and a capstone Media Project.
