COURSE CURRICULUM

The Master of Engineering Management is a professionally focused program designed to equip engineers with the strategic, managerial, and leadership skills required to manage complex technical systems and organisations. The Foundation Zone, consisting of 80 credit points, builds essential knowledge in areas such as Contracts and Procurement, Managing Finance, Work Organisation and Management, Enterprise Management, Engineering Management and Communication, Operations and Quality Management, Safety and Risk Engineering, and Globalisation and Supply Chain Management. These units provide a strong base in both technical and business principles relevant to engineering environments. The Core Zone, worth 80 credit points, develops advanced capabilities through units including Professional Practice, Engineering Management Capstone, Business Process Engineering, and Engineering Innovation and Entrepreneurship, all of which focus on applying management principles to real engineering challenges. Students also complete 40 credit points of electives, choosing from subjects such as Corporate Finance, Business Ethics and Sustainability, Management of Data Analytics and Change, Digital Innovation, Managing Globally, Learning to be a Leader, Managing Strategically, and Strategic Change Management.
