COURSE CURRICULUM

The Master of Commerce curriculum with a specialisation in Accounting and Auditing provides a comprehensive education that combines foundational business knowledge with advanced accounting expertise and practical business skills. The program begins with a Foundation Zone (40 credit points), where students develop essential knowledge in accounting, finance, economics, business analytics, marketing, and organizational management, creating a strong base for postgraduate study. The Core Zone (80 credit points) focuses on developing ethical, analytical, and strategic business capabilities through subjects covering business ethics and sustainability, data analytics and change management, and contemporary business issues. Students can further personalize their learning by selecting an elective in areas such as managerial accounting, corporate finance, business analytics, marketing, supply chain management, or business internships to enhance professional experience. The Accounting and Auditing specialisation (40 credit points) provides in-depth knowledge of management control systems, financial reporting standards and practice, auditing and assurance services, and current issues in accounting and corporate governance.
