COURSE CURRICULUM

The Master of Chiropractic is a comprehensive professional program designed to develop highly skilled chiropractors through an integration of scientific knowledge, clinical training, and evidence-based practice. The degree begins with an 80-credit-point Foundation Zone that builds essential understanding in areas such as Chiropractic Practice A and B, Musculoskeletal Anatomy, Neuroanatomy, Pathology and Diagnosis, Evidence-based Practice and Public Health, and Radiographic Science. These foundational units ensure students develop a strong grounding in human biology, diagnostic principles, and clinical reasoning. The Core Zone, worth 160 credit points, focuses on advanced clinical competence and professional development through units such as Clinical Chiropractic 1–4, Clinical Neurology, Orthopaedic Physical Assessment, Radiographic Imaging, and research-focused studies including Postgraduate Advanced Research and a Research Project. Students also choose electives in areas such as Functional Rehabilitation, Rehabilitation and Lifestyle Management, Diagnostic Imaging, Interprofessional Management, and Clinic Preparation, allowing them to tailor their learning to specific interests. The program further includes an extensive clinical internship component through structured placements, where students gain hands-on experience in real healthcare settings. Additionally, units in Practice Management and Clinic Administration prepare graduates to operate or manage chiropractic practices effectively. Overall, the program equips students with the clinical expertise, research capability, and professional skills needed for careers in chiropractic healthcare, rehabilitation, and related health services.
