COURSE CURRICULUM

The Bachelor of Business with a major in Management and Leadership equips students with the knowledge, skills and practical experience required to become effective leaders and managers in modern organisations. The program begins with core business units that provide a strong foundation in leadership, business communication, decision-making, financial management, marketing, organisational management and employability skills. These units help students develop essential analytical thinking, teamwork, communication and problem-solving abilities needed in professional environments. In the final year, the Contemporary Business Challenges capstone unit integrates learning from across the degree, allowing students to apply strategic thinking to complex and real-world business problems. The Management and Leadership major builds advanced expertise through specialised study in critical thinking, strategic creativity and innovation, ethics and sustainability management, staffing organisations, leadership and influence, managing organisational change and strategic management. Students also complete the PACE Business Project, which provides practical industry experience through collaboration with organisations on real business challenges. This curriculum focuses on developing strong leadership capabilities, ethical decision-making and the ability to manage people and organisational change effectively.
