COURSE CURRICULUM

The Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Commerce double degree combines broad humanities study with professional business training, allowing students to build both critical thinking and commercial skills. The Arts component offers a wide selection of majors such as Critical Indigenous Studies, Sociology, Media Culture and Communications, Anthropology, Japanese Studies, Creative Writing, English, Philosophy, Chinese Studies, French and Francophone Studies, German Studies, Spanish and Latin American Studies, enabling deep exploration of language, culture and society. The Commerce component provides structured business education, typically beginning with core foundation units in areas like accounting, economics, finance, marketing, management and business analytics, followed by specialised majors that allow students to develop professional expertise. Together, the program is designed to enhance employability by combining analytical, creative and communication skills from the Arts with practical, industry-relevant business knowledge from Commerce. Students gain experience in problem solving, research, communication and strategic thinking, preparing them for careers in corporate, government, non-profit and international sectors.
