COURSE CURRICULUM

Bachelor of Applied Finance core zone comprises 110 credit points structured into essential units, a capstone, and electives that build technical applied financial expertise. Students complete foundational and advanced subjects including Economics and Global Economy, Investments, FinTech Foundations and Applications, Financial Data Analytics, Applied Portfolio Management, and Advanced Corporate Finance. Program culminates in a PACE capstone unit focused on issues in applied finance, alongside electives such as Introductory Econometrics or Probability and advanced finance topics including Financial Risk Management, Derivative Instruments, Trading in Financial Markets, Bank Financial Management, Wealth Management, and Financial Econometrics. In contrast, Bachelor of Professional Accounting core zone is a larger 160 credit point structure with 140 credit points of essential units covering accounting, governance, finance, economics, statistics, and business law. Core studies include Accounting for Decision Making, Financial Accounting and Reporting Analysis, Corporate Finance and Capital Markets, Cost Analysis and Managerial Decision Making, Business Performance and Management Controls, Tax, Auditing, and Information Systems and Data Analytics for Accountants. It also includes Business and Risk Advisory and foundational business strategy and economics units. Degree concludes with a PACE capstone in accounting and governance, plus elective options such as Blockchain for Business or Forensic and Data Analytics.
