The Bachelor of Applied Finance provides a structured, industry-focused education built around core financial knowledge and practical application. The program includes essential units such as Accounting for Decision Making, Corporate Finance and Capital Markets, Economics and Business Strategy, Investments, FinTech Foundations and Applications, Financial Data Analytics, Applied Portfolio Management, and Advanced Corporate Finance. Students also complete a capstone unit, PACE: Issues in Applied Finance, which integrates learning through real-world industry projects. The degree allows some flexibility through electives such as Finance Fundamentals, Introduction to Actuarial Studies, Introductory Econometrics, Probability, Financial Risk Management, Derivative Instruments, Trading in Financial Markets, Bank Financial Management, Wealth Management, and Financial Econometrics, enabling students to specialise in areas aligned with their career goals. The Bachelor of Business Analytics focuses on developing advanced data and computing skills combined with business insight. Core subjects include Introduction to Data, Analytics and People, Python Programming, Database Design and Management, Business Statistics and Insights, Data Visualisation and Storytelling, Data Science, Statistical Data Analytics, Information Systems for Management, Cyber Security Governance and Ethics, Business Forecasting, and Artificial Intelligence in Business Applications. Students also complete a capstone Business Analytics Project that applies their skills to real-world problems.
