COURSE CURRICULUM

The Master of Extended Professional Accounting with the Project Management specialisation requires the completion of 240 credit points, combining professional accounting expertise with advanced project leadership and management skills. The course structure is designed to develop professionals who can understand financial operations while effectively planning, managing, and delivering organisational projects. Level One consists of 120 credit points of core subjects, including accounting principles and practices, economics for global leaders, statistics for business, principles of finance, foundations of company and commercial law, accounting information systems, financial accounting and reporting, and management accounting, along with the Academic Integrity Module. These subjects establish strong foundations in accounting, finance, business analysis, and regulatory knowledge. Level Two includes a 15-credit-point capstone subject in Advanced Accounting Issues, 30 credit points of core subjects covering taxation and auditing and assurance, and 15 credit points of prescribed electives such as Principles of Business Analytics or Industry Placement. Students also complete a 60-credit-point Project Management specialisation, which develops advanced capabilities in project planning, quality management, risk management, stakeholder engagement, resource allocation, and strategic decision-making. By integrating accounting knowledge with project management expertise, the program prepares graduates for leadership roles in project management, business consulting, financial management, and organisational improvement across a range of industries.
