COURSE CURRICULUM

The Master of Digital Health consists of 240 credit points, providing students with a comprehensive understanding of digital health, healthcare systems, technology, leadership, and specialised areas of practice. The course structure includes 120 core credit points, 60 specialisation credit points, and 60 elective credit points, allowing students to develop essential knowledge while customising their studies according to their career goals. In Level One, students complete 120 core credit points covering subjects such as Big Data and Health Analytics, Trends in Digital Health, Communicating Digital Health, Virtual Care and the Internet of Medical Things, Strategic Digital Transformation of Health, Digital Health Design and Implementation, Systems Thinking and Leadership, and Epidemiology and Biostatistics. These subjects build fundamental skills in digital healthcare, data analysis, innovation, leadership, and evidence-based decision-making. In Level Two, students complete 60 credit points from their chosen specialisation, including the Public Health specialisation, which focuses on population health, disease prevention, health promotion, policy approaches, and strategies to protect communities from health risks and emergencies. Students also complete 60 credit points of Level Five elective subjects, enabling them to expand their knowledge in areas aligned with their professional interests. The program combines theoretical learning with practical application, preparing graduates to contribute to digital health initiatives, public health programs, healthcare improvement, and strategies that support healthier communities.
