COURSE CURRICULUM

The Master of Digital Health consists of 240 credit points, structured to provide students with comprehensive knowledge of digital health, technology applications, analytics, leadership, and specialised expertise. The program includes 120 core credit points, 60 specialisation credit points, and 60 elective credit points, allowing students to develop both foundational and advanced capabilities. In Level One, students complete 120 core credit points covering key areas such as Big Data and Health Analytics, Trends in Digital Health, Communicating Digital Health, Virtual Care and the Internet of Medical Things, Strategic Digital Transformation of Health, Digital Health Design and Implementation, Systems Thinking and Leadership, and Epidemiology and Biostatistics. These subjects provide essential knowledge of healthcare technologies, data management, digital innovation, and evidence-based practice. In Level Two, students complete 60 credit points from their selected specialisation, including the Data Analytics specialisation, which focuses on developing expertise in data management, analytics, modelling, and artificial intelligence applications to support decision-making and innovation. Students also undertake 60 credit points of Level Five elective subjects, enabling them to customise their studies based on their career goals and professional interests. The course integrates theoretical learning with practical application, preparing graduates to use digital technologies, data analytics, and emerging solutions to improve healthcare systems, support organisational strategies, and contribute to technology-driven advancements in health and related industries.
