COURSE CURRICULUM

The Master of Digital Health consists of 240 credit points, structured to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of digital healthcare, technology, leadership, and specialised professional skills. The course is divided into 120 core credit points, 60 specialisation credit points, and 60 elective credit points. In Level One, students complete 120 core credit points covering essential areas such as Big Data and Health Analytics, Trends in Digital Health, Communicating Digital Health, Virtual Care and the Internet of Medical Things, Strategic Digital Transformation of Health, Digital Health Design and Implementation, Systems Thinking and Leadership, and Epidemiology and Biostatistics. These subjects develop foundational knowledge in digital health innovation, data-driven healthcare, technology implementation, leadership, and evidence-based decision-making. In Level Two, students undertake 60 credit points from their selected specialisation, including the Cybersecurity in Business specialisation, which focuses on protecting information systems, managing cybersecurity risks, and developing strategies to safeguard digital assets within organisations. Students also complete 60 credit points of Level Five elective subjects, allowing them to tailor their learning to suit their career goals and areas of interest. The program combines theoretical knowledge with practical applications, preparing graduates to address challenges in digital healthcare, cybersecurity, information management, and organisational transformation while developing the skills required for leadership roles in technology-driven health environments.
