COURSE CURRICULUM

The Master of Digital Health consists of 240 credit points, structured to provide students with a strong foundation in digital health concepts, advanced technologies, leadership, research, and specialised skills. The course includes 120 core credit points, 60 specialisation credit points, and 60 elective credit points. In Level One, students complete 120 core credit points covering essential areas such as Big Data and Health Analytics, Trends in Digital Health, Communicating Digital Health, Virtual Care and the Internet of Medical Things, Strategic Digital Transformation of Health, Digital Health Design and Implementation, Systems Thinking and Leadership, and Epidemiology and Biostatistics. These subjects develop students’ understanding of healthcare innovation, digital transformation, data analysis, technology implementation, and evidence-based decision-making. In Level Two, students select 60 credit points from their chosen specialisation, including the Artificial Intelligence specialisation, which focuses on advanced AI concepts and applications within digital health and other sectors. Students also complete 60 credit points of Level Five elective subjects, allowing them to personalise their studies according to their career aspirations and professional interests. The program integrates theoretical learning with practical applications, enabling graduates to develop expertise in digital health technologies, artificial intelligence, analytics, and healthcare innovation while preparing them for careers in technology-driven healthcare environments, research, leadership, and digital transformation roles.
