COURSE CURRICULUM

The Master of Digital Health requires students to complete a total of 240 credit points, consisting of 120 core credit points, 60 specialisation credit points, and 60 elective credit points. The course structure is designed to provide students with comprehensive knowledge and skills in digital health, combining essential concepts, advanced technologies, research methods, and practical applications. In Level One, students complete 120 core credit points covering key areas such as Big Data and Health Analytics, Trends in Digital Health, Communicating Digital Health, Virtual Care and the Internet of Medical Things, Strategic Digital Transformation of Health, Digital Health Design and Implementation, Systems Thinking and Leadership, and Epidemiology and Biostatistics. These subjects develop students’ understanding of digital innovation, healthcare transformation, data-driven decision-making, leadership, and evidence-based health practices. In Level Two, students complete 60 credit points within their selected specialisation, including the Applied Research specialisation, where they undertake research projects addressing important public health challenges. Students also complete 60 credit points of elective subjects at Level Five, allowing them to customise their learning according to career goals and professional interests. The program integrates theoretical knowledge, research capability, and practical skills, preparing graduates to contribute effectively to digital health initiatives, healthcare improvement, public health research, policy development, and technology-driven solutions across diverse health settings.
