COURSE CURRICULUM

The Pharmaceutical Science major consists of 120 credit points within the Bachelor of Science program and provides students with a comprehensive understanding of the science behind medicines, drug development and therapeutic applications. The major is structured across three levels of study, allowing students to build foundational knowledge in chemistry, biology and pharmaceutical principles before progressing to advanced concepts in drug discovery, formulation and analysis. Students explore how medicinal compounds are designed, developed, tested and delivered to achieve effective health outcomes. The course structure combines theoretical learning with practical laboratory experiences, enabling students to develop skills in pharmaceutical formulation, chemical analysis, pharmacology and scientific investigation.
