COURSE CURRICULUM

The Applied Cybersecurity major within the Bachelor program requires students to complete 360 credit points, including a 120 credit point major focused on developing advanced skills in cybersecurity and digital protection. The major is structured across three levels of study, gradually building students’ understanding of cybersecurity concepts, technologies, and practical applications. Students develop knowledge of cyber defence strategies, information and data security, network systems, digital forensics, and the management of cybersecurity risks. The program focuses on understanding how cyber threats operate and how organisations can protect their digital assets, networks, and critical infrastructure. Through progressive learning, students develop skills in analysing security challenges, identifying vulnerabilities, applying defensive techniques, and responding effectively to cyber incidents. The major also emphasizes the importance of communication, ethical considerations, and strategic approaches to managing cybersecurity issues in professional environments. Students gain practical knowledge that supports careers in areas such as cybersecurity analysis, network security, digital investigation, threat management, and information protection.
