COURSE CURRICULUM

The Bachelor of Commerce/Bachelor of Biomedicine combines business knowledge with advanced biomedical science, creating a multidisciplinary qualification designed for careers in healthcare, biotechnology and commercial industries. Across 540 credit points, students develop a strong foundation in biological sciences, chemistry, human health, disease processes and business principles. Early studies introduce key biomedical concepts including molecules, genes and cells, anatomy, genetics, chemistry and the global burden of disease, alongside commerce subjects such as economics and business fundamentals. As students progress, they explore advanced areas including biochemistry, molecular biology, human physiology, microbiology, medical science and biomedical research while developing expertise in marketing, finance, business analysis, management and emerging technologies such as generative artificial intelligence for business. The course allows students to specialise through Commerce and Biomedicine majors, building knowledge relevant to healthcare innovation, biotechnology management, pharmaceutical industries and business strategy.
